Korea Investment Corporation is a global investment management company established in July 2005 by the Korean government to manage part of the country’s foreign exchange reserves and other public funds.

1. Position and Job Specifications

Job Required qualifications Responsibilities

Equity Analyst / Portfolio Manager
  • At least 2 years of previous experience in portfolio management or investment analysis, we are flexible on the seniority and the level of experience
  • Experience and good understanding of fundamental bottom-up analysis, portfolio & risk management, industry specific business cycles
  • Superior analytical skills – To conduct corporate interviews, fundamental analysis, financial modelling and own valuation
  • Ability to work autonomously - Ability to work independently, take initiative, plan and manage own tasks and performance
  • Experience in Financial, Real Estates, Consumer Staples, Energy, Utility sectors - not a must but an advantage
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Humility and ability to thrive in a highly collaborative global team with a strong desire to learn from and with other investors is essential
  • Good understanding of global/European financial markets
  • CFA or equivalent preferred
  • Manage multi-billion Pan-European equity portfolios as a team in accordance with established trading and risk parameters
  • Conduct research on sectors, industries and investment strategies
  • Collaborate and share market views with other portfolio managers
  • Manage the whole portfolio management process from a stock selection to trading
  • Prepare and present investment thesis and reviews if needed
