Korea Investment Corporation is a global investment management company established in July 2005 by the Korean government to manage part of the country’s foreign exchange reserves and other public funds.

1. Position and Job Specifications

Job Qualifications Responsibilities

Private Equity Investment Manager
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking/M&A/private market investment (SWF, pension, fund of funds, family office, endowment, PE/VC/PD, etc.)
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities to solve financial and strategic issues with financial modeling / technical skills
  • Expertise in working with broad range of parties from financial sponsors to government agencies, ideally with previous transactions experience
  • Proficient writing skill for various memos for reporting to HQ and investment committee (in English)
  • Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency and enthusiasm both individually and as part of team
  • Deal screening: call and/or meet with prospects, evaluate private equity/venture funds/private debt and co-investment opportunities
  • Perform market research to help identify new investment trends and opportunities
  • Documentation: summarize call notes, manage internal database
  • Network with peers in other private equity firms and fund managers
  • Perform due diligence and gather information from the target funds and industry experts
  • Prepare internal investment memos
  • Flexible and willing to get involved in many different aspects of the business as required
  • Manage and monitor investment portfolio

Real Asset Investment Manager
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial sector (Relevant working experiences in investment, development, or related advisory experiences on real estate and/or Infrastructure)
  • Proficient writing skill for various memos for reporting to HQ and investment committee (in English)
  • Ability to work with flexibility, efficiency and enthusiasm both individually and as part of team
  • Research and analyze real asset (real estate & infrastructure) market
  • Provide support for executing investments
  • Flexible and willing to get involved in many different aspects of the business as required
  • Coverage: India
